Mary has a special place in the Christmas crib.
The Virgin Mary is the mother of the baby Jesus.
Mary santon is part of the 5 santons of the nativity scene.
In Provence it is the whole village that is represented around the advent.

The adult santons measure around 8 to 9 cm and all the animals and accessories are of a compatible size.
They’re just like us, some bigger, some smaller, some fatter, some thinner!
They are therefore compatible with other collections of 8 / 9 cm santons.

All our santons are handmade in our workshops in Provence, using traditional methods.
