Santon Witch

This crib figure has its place in the crib because she is part
of the inhabitants of Provence.
Since the Middle Ages witches have been part of the legends
and culture of our beautiful region.

All the santons de Provence sold here are traditionally made in Provence from clay by a local craftsman and fired before being hand-painted.
The adult santons are approximately 8 / 9 cm high and all the animals and accessories are the same size.
They’re just like us, some bigger, some smaller, some fatter, some skinnier!
This makes them compatible with other collections of Santons Size 8 / 9cm.
