In Provence, the game of boule or pétanque is part of the national sport. It is a collective game that brings together several players. Whether in the afternoon or the evening, the people of Provence play boules all year round.
Here, our bouliste santons on their knees concentrate and take the game very seriously. Petanque is very popular in the land of cicadas.

All the santons de Provence sold here are made in Provence according to an ancestral tradition by a local craftsman from clay and fired by hand before being painted.
The adult santons are around 8/9 cm high and all the animals and accessories are the same size.
They’re just like us – bigger, smaller, thicker, thinner!
They are therefore compatible with other collections of 8/9 cm santons.
