Our santon carrying jugs fetches water from the well or goes to the village fountain
to fill his containers with fresh water.
At the time of the creation of the santons, there was not yet running water
in the houses of Provence.

The adult santons measure around 8 to 9 cm and all the animals and accessories are the same size.
They are just like us, some bigger, some smaller, some fatter, some thinner!
They are therefore compatible with other collections of 8 / 9 cm santons.

All our santons and crib accessories sold on our website are handmade in our workshops in Provence, in the traditional way, in clay and hand-painted.
